Gettin back into reloading. Got my feet wet in the past, but sold everything cuz ammo was cheaper than my time was worth to me.
Anyhow, with the current predicament we are in, I ordered another press and am fixin to get all the other stuff I need in the following weeks.
I got a 20" barrel on this new rifle, FN SPR A1A 308, which really likes FGMM 168's. Chrono'd the factory loads at just over 2600fps (6ft from muzzle), which seemed pretty good for the shorter barrel?

Thinking that I want to initially get set up for 155 scenar bullets (if test batches show promise), using once fired federal and winchester brass, I have a couple concerns:

Any powders better for shorter barrel length (20")?

Would probably also want whichever one contributes to the least amount of muzzle flash?

Proven recipes? (found numerous recipe's, but not necessarily specific to 20" length)

May tinker out to a thousand yards every now and then, but for the most part under 500 around here.

I'll do some more searching tomorrow, figured I'd ask also.
