Hey all. Idk which section this really belongs in- but here goes.

When I go to rifle matches, I keep most of my stuff that isn’t permanently in my shooting pack in a couple of medium to large plastic. Totes. Everything is just kinda floating around in there and I have to dig around for all my stuff. This is everything from spray lube to spotting scope, shooting bags, match book savers, tool pouches etc.

I’m not good at coking up with an organization plan, but I’m good at following one! Just looking for your ideas. Or maybe products you use.

I was introduced to the Eberlestock Upranger pack this year. To me, it is the best match pack and all around organization tool. I keep all of my match gear in it all the time. With the internal dividers I can tell that I have everything set and ready to go. It also has a poly bottom that is easy to clean up on rainy match days.

Questions for the author.

How does the obi plate help with the binos?
The Arca plate on the FDE case, is that a spotting scope?
I use it for find/range/engage matches. I don’t like to use a bag on the tripod head. It’s connected and stowed like that and I can just carry it that way. So for a Hunter match, I can throw down tripod at kneeling height, find and range off steady platform, quick release binos and toss in tripod leg basket, and attach rifle to ball head via arcs clamp immediately if I need to. I also have obi stud on tripod leg to both carry the tripod on my pack, and attach Binos to it temporarily if I need to.

And yes, it is an arca base for a Leopold gold ring spotter.

I bet that’s a nice pack. I used to have an eberlestock pack, but went to something lighter.
I have a designated pack I carry that has essentials I need to carry, and it stays loaded.
The stuff in the tote is stuff that I don’t necessarily carry, or that gets swapped out per match, or are tools etc. So I don’t want those things in my pack. Way too much extra crap.

Thanks man. I’m currently trying to come up with a way to attach my bipod to my tripod or pack so I don’t leave it behind. The easy thing to do is put it on the rifle when it’s not being used but I would like to attach to tripod as an option. I like the obi system but I think I’m going to attach a RRS arca plate bino strap to the tripod. That way I can attach the bipod vs throwing it on the ground.

Eberlestock pack here too.

I only carry 3 bags (gamechanger, range cube, milk toast).
Mags go in the pocket on the top flap so they're never lost.
Ammo binder in the main compartment with the bags.
Badlands bino harness for binos and rangefinder.
Only tools I carry is a Leatherman wave with the bit sets.

We rarely have stages that are tripod friendly. So if I'm carrying my spotter I just leave it on the tripod and toss it over my shoulder all day.

If it's hot out I have a folding wagon that holds my pelican cooler, pack, and tripod.
