Night Vision OTAL C - Lower Mount?

Is it possible to replace the factory QD mount on the OTAL C with a lower profile mount (maybe with a cross bolt design)?

I haven’t compared mine to many other lasers, but it seems to sit fairly high and I don’t like seeing it through my LPVO… I miss everything about my MAWL except the weight and cost

Does this result in the OTAL being mounted lower than with the factory QD?
