Otto noizebarrier vs peltor 3m tep-100/200

I have gone through two sets of the Peltor/3Ms. When they work, they work pretty good. When they go sour, they crash pretty quick. Frustrations with chasing any type of repair/warranty. Just bought 2 sets of the Otto Micros.

The Otto is a different animal for sure than the Peltor/3Ms but I think I am going to like them at least as good or better. The way they cycle through a sharp impulse noise and back to normal is noticeably more delayed on the return part but will not be an issue.

I found that the Skull Screw plugs I was using on the 3Ms will fit onto the Otto set. My ear canals are big and that made these way more workable. Only a few weeks on the Ottos so far so not a real track record to report yet. I do think the Otto company would be more responsive to issues or warranty if needed.

I've had my Ottos for 2 years and love them. A few weeks ago 1 of them went south. Battery crashed. I called them and had a return shipping label emailed in minutes. Sent them back and they warrantied them no questions asked. Have a brand new set after about a week & a 1/2. We'll see how long these ones go. With the good foam tips on them my braked 300WM sounds like a balloon pop across the room. Ears no longer ring (any worse than normal) after shooting. Great set of plugs.

I don't have any experience with 3M. I have had a set of Otto's since August of 2018. I had recharge problems with one and Otto sent me a return authorization. They repaired or replaced it quickly and returned back to me. Great customer service. I like mine very well.

The EEP-100 are the same as TEP-100, but the color is lime green and the charging case only works charges from a mini usb cable, and with skull screw tips provide 30db noise reduction. 190usd delivered from Amazon.
