So I purchased a Badger ordnance gen 1 tactical latch and installed it on my POF P308's over sized charging handle and it did not fit. The handle was to large to alow the latch to go as far back as it need to go.

A few days ago I saw the POF GAP-10 on GAPs website with the same latch installed. What did they do differently to get it to work?

Only one way you can install it... punch the pin, switch the latches put the pin back in.... The last ridge on the handle hits the inside part of the loop.

Sorry I was being sarcastic

No it wont even lock the handle. I tried to mod the latch by grinding some of the contact area down and it still wouldn't clear the ridge to lock. Guess I will just buy a gen 2 latch and be done with it. But I'm still curious as to how it fits on the GAP. I could just give GAP a call.
