Own rare CZ 453 but want something else

Have put one box of 50 down the tube. Is in immaculate condition. Only issue is that it doesn't have a threaded bbl. (Yeah. I know I could have it threaded but ruin any value). Looking at a Ruger Precision or a Savage A22 Lite.

Any thoughts or other suggestions?

CZ 457 unless you have a LOT more budget - then it's Vudoo or Rim-X. Ruger "Precision" and Savage are steps down from what you already have.

For bolts, if you’re not looking to spend big money on a Vudoo, the Tikka T1x or Bergara B14R are good options as well.

No, set trigger was a 453 thing. You can change out the trigger spring and get a trigger that is pretty close to it.

Get the 457. You will regret wasting your money on the ruger “precision”

You have to upgrade them just to get the same performance you’d get out of a 457 out of the box.
