I bought this from someone on another forum, and never got around to mounted it. This was the ad:
Pac Nor Super Match Grade Stainless Barrel for 700 Remington.
Remington Varmint Contour chambered in 22/250, it was fitted and chambered by Pac Nor.
This is a take-off barrel from my 700 I had built about 6 or 8 years ago, I only removed it because I have decided to go with a sporter contour for a walking varminter.
The barrel has around 500 rounds through it, it does show some flattening of the lands for about a half-inch or so immediately forward of the chamber. It is still shooting 5-shot groups of 3/4" - 1", there is a lot of accurate life left in it, it has not been subjected to sustained fire, it has been used for 5-shot strings on paper and some coyote shooting.
In my experience there is a 50/50 chance that it will screw onto a 700 action and headspace within specs.
