Anyone use these and how do they compare to the other major brand name dispenser combo systems? I'm interested in one because they are made in the USA and it has a lifetime warranty.

I've had mine for around 7 years never had any trouble with it. I think it is slower than than rcbs and takes up a little more space. But it is alot cheaper.

I've got one and I don't really like it. It's a lot slower than my RCBS. Seems to take forever to stabilize the weight after it finishes dropping powder. Takes longer to stabilize and zero the empty pan before it starts dumping powder for the next round too. I just use it as a back up now.

I've got one of the early ones, works fine for me. Get a Lee powder scoop or three, start the charge, and throw in about 75% of the charge. Fast and accurate. Wait 5 seconds or so after setting the pan on the scale before starting a drop, no matter what you end up getting.
Either leave the scale on all the time, or wait at least two hours for the readings to stabilize. Also, move your computer, cell phone, fluorescent lights, and fans away from the scale.

A few months back the scale quit talking to the dispenser (tested with another scale, process of elimination) so I sent it in for "warranty" work.
I'm looking at the invoice now and it says "replace load cell in SCALE". The guy told me that the loadcell and transmitting unit are all connected. They had to replace "all of it".
Come to find out, the "loadcell in SCALE" is NOT under warranty but was replaced for $30.00 and $14.95 shipping and handling.
So for a grand total of $44.95 and under "LIFETIME WARRANTY" the scale was fixed.
Don't take this as a slam, just stating facts. I will continue to use it because it serves it's purpose. I guess I didn't read the fine print in the lifetime warranty. It's always my luck that I would have the problem that isn't covered.
I just want everyone to be aware of what is not covered under the lifetime warranty on this unit.

I bought mine in 2004 but just started using the dispenser. It seems to take about 45 minutes to run 50 rounds. Only one I've use but could be considered slow.

I have used one for about ten years and am generaly quite happy with it. Since I am meticulous about my reloading for my match grade rifles, I do not mind the time it takes for the dispenser to drop the charge (about 35 seconds). It gives me time to make sure that all my ducks are in a row before I drop the poweder in the case and put it on the press for seating. As soon as I drop the powder in the case, I replace the pan on the scale and start the dispenser for the next round. About the time I have completed the seating step and have inspected the cartridge, the dispenser is about done with the next load. When you get into a steady routine, with no distractions (no TV, radio, kids, etc.) you can crank out quite a few rounds in an evening.

thanks for all the replies. Im really torn between the RCBS and PACT dispenser systems. Im not too concerned about the dispense time as much as I am in dependability / reliability of the system I decide to purchase.

I cured the problem of being slow. I have 3 sets of the pact scales and 3 powder dispensers. This makes it were I can weight and load as fast as I can. I just loaded 7 lbs worth of Imr 8208 XBR in 223, 22-250 and 308 for a dog shoot.
