Looking for a paddle style holster (or any other semi easy on off) for my g19 to wear while fiddling around my property. Currently I have a couple belt through options but I'm thinking I want to try something a little easier on off. .

+1 for a TekLok or clone mount- because paddles offer LESS stability on the waist, and less security against coming off. Blade-Tech and CompTac are just a couple of many good choices that use TekLok-like mounts.

What kind of dicking around are you doing?

I usually put mine in a chest holster, even, like 2hrs ago when I was running my backpack sprayer, or like yesterday when I was running my brushcutter with harness.

I find I slam my elbow and other body parts into it less.

If I want it near the hip for some reason I go drop leg, again, I find I slam body parts into it less this way.

Otherwise, I'd go Safariland for paddle holsters, I've run several paddles, theirs seems to be most comfortable with a lot of coverage for stability, I carry my 500 S&W a lot and so I needed the weight distributed well, their paddle made a difference.

Never had an issue with the paddles moving around or coming off, don't know that I'd say they don't offer stability, I built my one drop leg kit with the safariland paddle specifically because of its weight transfer and stability... but what do I know, just carrying several pounds of 500 S&W while musky fishing, milling lumber, building shit, running a chainsaw, carrying and dragging lumber and so on.... also used it plenty with the 9mm daily carry rigs

Anyways, now it'll get changed as it's getting rigged on a battle belt that has reinforcement in it, so a normal rubber belt strap will go on.

By the way, rigging a battle belt is another consideration, I rig mine with magnetic buckles as well, so they're quick on and off. But this allows you to easily throw a medical bag on too, in case you cut your leg off running the chainsaw like an idiot...something I look forward to doing soon.
