Fieldcraft Paint a laminate stock?

I posted this in the rimfire section but figured I'd also post here as well.

Anybody know if I can paint a laminate stock such as those found on the Savage Mark II BV? How much trouble would it be and what would I need? Would the wonderfull Krylon work?

I did my wife's turkey gun last year with Duracoat as it had a brown laminated stock and it turned out ok. I did rough up the surface some with #220 wet paper and then degreased with alcohol.

You can paint them just the same as anything else, no special prep required. Sand, clean, and spray.
