I was painting bows well before I ever started painting up all my guns and such, but it has been a while since I have painted a bow. I got myself two new PSE XForce AXE 6 bows this year for hunting. One of them is a 50-60 pound draw and the other is a 60-70 pound draw. The first is mainly for turkey and coyotes and the heavier draw weight for all things bigger, but mostly whitetail deer. I thought I would share how the paint work went for the both of these as I tried to make them unique and in theme for intended usage

The first is the deer hunting bow right after paint and not put together yet

The next will be my turkey hunting bow. It is blacked out with accents because I turkey hunt from inside a double bull matrix 360 blind and black is the camo of choice for inside a blind. Regular camo actually stands out when you are inside hunting.

Here is the result of the first arrow I shot at anything alive with the new bows. Crappy cell phone pic, but is all I had. I don't take hunting pictures too often.

I hope some of yall also like to bowhunt. I have been bowhunting for nearly 30 years now.

That is bad ass cool!
Very nice job!

The skull camo is something you should immediately copyright.
If I were to get a deer rifle dipped, I'd love to have that pattern on it.

I have been shooting PSE bows for 25 years or so. They suit me just fine and their new line of bows will match anything any other bow company has made EVER. I am a proud member of their Pro Field Staff to this day. I used to shoot comps a lot and one of the guys I used to shoot with often is now a full out staff shooter pro for PSE. I actually have two guys that live near to me that are on their Pro Shooter Staff. Nathan Brooks and Chris Hacker. Both of those guys are great people and great shooters. Nathan has been both a World and National champion thus far in his career. He also used to give a hard time about shooting PSE and now he is one of their premiere shooters and loves their products. You just gotta shoot the new bows to understand

I will put these up against anything out there.

Those are super sharp brother! Pete Shepley is enroute to SA with my good friend to scwhak some animals with the Omen, gonna email the pics to them if you don't mind!

Re: Painted up BOW / Archery Subject Disclaimer =====>

Sounds like a good trip and hope they have a great time and return safe. The Omen is an awesome bow with the only flaw to it IMO is the hump at the end of the draw cycle. I had one last year, but this year it is the AXEs for me. Feel free to send the pics if you like they should like them.

Re: Painted up BOW / Archery Subject Disclaimer =====>

PSE has really stepped up to the plate in the last few years with their bows. If I was ever interested in getting a 2 cam bow, it would more than likely be a PSE.

Nice paint job by the way, very nice!!!!

Re: Painted up BOW / Archery Subject Disclaimer =====>
