Thinking of painting the stock on y new CTR. I've used Durakote and the cure time is way too long. I like Ceracoat and have several pieces done in it, but I'm a little uncomfortable heating the plastic to cure it. Suggestions?
Or just cure it real low and slow. A hot car gets hotter than the minimum temp to cure cerakote. Ive baked plastic oakley sunglasses with cerakote no problems.
I use Rustoleum camo in a spray can and after cured for a few days, i can’t rub it off very easily to say the least. I then coat with 2-3 light coats of wheel matte clear and it is pretty damn tough.
