I can recommend Kevin Byrd and crew of Pandion Tactical in upstate South Carolina for firearms training. I've participated in hand-gun and carbine courses and can verify there is something for everybody with fundamental firearms experience. Both day-long classes I've attended had a mix of ex-military, police and recreational shooters (like myself) and everyone gets better by days end and has fun. He stresses you, both mentally and physically, enough to expose the need to be aware of the effects and how to overcome them. He's talented, knowledgeable and energetic with bona fides from élite military service and recruits his training crew from various military branches for a wide platform of experience. He and his guys have done it, don't tell it, but teach the real skills needed to be more confident, effective and safe with firearms. It's not once and done with Byrd. I'm encouraged to continue with his Advanced Carbine Operator class next up. Check him out if you're in this part of the country.
