I had a post last week about the parallax adjustment on a Leupold VX III 4.5-14 leaving the target a blur for me. I thought my eyes were going south faster than they really are. I got to shoot over the weekend and found the problem to be the scope. This is an older Leupold with the parallax adjustment on the front bell. Something has broken, as the bell will rotate just over two full turns lock to lock. I checked another scope and it turned just over / under one third of a turn.
Has anybody had this happen? Should I send it in for repair? I could just use it, as it does focus. One concern is that after that much travel, some seal or something could be broke and letting things in or out.
