Not for nothing but since when did corporal punishment become such a bad thing? He said that he was disciplining her for stealing. He takes a belt to her backside, it's not like he was pounding her with closed fists or denying her food.

But then again, I only saw a snippet of what is being alleged. Who knows what happens behind closed doors.

I would normally agree however I don't think I would ever take a belt to a female, nor do I think it is ever acceptable to do so to someone with a severe disorder like that. My 2 cents.

Was the whipping a bit excessive? Maybe. Was this the first time his daughter was caught stealing? Nope. So when you exhaust all other avenues of discipline what do you do? It's extremely hard to be a parent. It's damn near impossible to try to raise your kids in today’s society with morals, ethics, backbone, discipline, etc. Every time I see a child/teenager scream at their parents and tell them how it's going to be I cringe. Not only does the punk need to have their ass beat but so does the parent. Back to the basics please!

So let me get this straight, a disabled disobedient kid continues to do what she has been told not to do knowing the reaction her father will have. She then sets up a camera and waits for her father to come beat her ass. Uploads the video playing on her “disabled” title to use as leverage at a later date to get back at her father? Really who’s the shit bird here?

If you're not a parent then you haven't earned a opinion.

I got my share of beatings but that, especially with the cursing, borders on, if not is, child abuse. If you cant deal with her, I beleive the police have remedys for stealing. A night in the drunk tank might be far more educational....him being sherriff and all.

Actually upon watching this again, I would love to get my hands on that asshole. That was absolutely ridiculous to do to a girl with fucking cerebral palsy. If I saw someone doing that they'd be eating through a tube for a while.

I watched your video at full with sound this time. Sorry I was at work earlier and didn't get the full rundown. Did they guy go to far? Yes. Cussing his daughter like a dog and whiping her legs and every other part of her body other than her ass. Do I believe the daughter pushed his buttons and set him up? Without a doubt she did. Then tucked this little video away for a later date to used as leverage against him. So I guess being a shitbird runs in the family.

As slapchop pointed out in another thread you can have a opinion all you want but if you haven't down it your clueless. So would you like me to start giving opinions on how the Military should run? Sure I can have a opinion on the matter however I'm fucking clueless. (you can save that as a signature) Knight I'm not trying to be a dick. Cops don't like it when you tell them how to do their job. Parents don't either.

I have serious doubts this just happened. I bet this was a series of events over a period of time that boiled over into the Father exploding. He should had held his temper in check he should never have beaten his own flesh and blood like that however some people handle building frustraion and anger better than others. He failed at this. If is a decent person I'm sure that day haunts him.

Let me make it very clear I don't believe for a second her actions warranted that kind of treatment.

Not relevant, this guy was doing something not only immoral but also illegal. Whether or not you have been a parent or not is immaterial to the facts on display in that video. If I went and hazed a bunch of guys do you think I could tell a judge "well hey you haven't been in the military you don't know shit" ?

Anybody that can watch that and say "oh it wasn't that bad" is out of their fucking mind. Regardless of her disability no kid needs to get whipped like a horse, not that viciously, and not that long. I was raised similar to that, deserved most of what I got too. I also have a daughter and I am a firm believer in a whipping from time to time; but to lose your shit that bad is absolutely unnecessary and says more about you than the kid.

If there was any justice in the world, he would get the same thing, in the same proportion that he gave to her.....see how he likes that shit.

I must have watched a different video than most of you here. The one I saw only had a snippet of him administering his punishment and made no mention of her being disabled.

How long did the beating last? Or if someone has the full video can you post a link?

When I was a boy I got my share of whippings with the hand, the belt and the board. That being said, if this guy has to discipline his child in this fashion when she is 16 years of age he has failed as a parent.

The parents should have simply taken away the computer as punishment and/or got the cops involved. I can remember when my little brother stole a CD from Best Buy. My parents took him back to Best Buy to give it back. Best Buy called the cops. The cops "reinforced the consequences" of stealing. After returning home, he got a few swats on the ass. End of story.

On that note, the whippings we got never lasted for more than 3 or 4 swats and we were never talked down to. This guy abused his daughter, apparently more than once given the fact that she had a camera set up to record the act.

The daughter could be a shit bag and trying to use to video for leverage to get stuff out of him but keep in mind, she is the product of the parenting she was raised upon.

As for the mom, fuck her too. She enabled this to happen by being a weak human being.

What shitty parents.

I HATE child abusers. They are the reason the 1911 was invented, in my opinion.

Boone-I am NOT a parent and YES I DO have and opinion. An individual DOES NOT have to be a parent to know right from wrong.

I think kids need that ass tanned from time to time, but this is ridiculous. I got it pretty rough sometimes, and I was tougher than woodpecker lips, but I never had my ass beat down like that from my parents. Whatever it was she did, I'm positive I did worse.....he's just a failure as a parent and as a human being. I hope pain and suffering is in his immediate future.
