Patch size

I'm ordering a bore guide and rod for my vudoo and want to see what the consensus is on patch size. I usually buy pro shot but the rod and guide are from boretech so I'm just going to get their patches. I will be ordering the square patches in either 3/4 or 1". My jags are 22 cal so that may make a difference. Boretech lists 3/4 for 17 cal and 1" for 22rf. I do have a 17 tikka also but I would rather buy the proper fitting patch instead of make one size due for both. I'm not worried about buying two sizes as $15 bucks is a drop in the bucket compared to the rest. Is everyone using 3/4 or 1"? Thanks

I’m using 1” square patches with BT rod, jag, and guide.

I use 1" round and 1 1/8" square pro shot. The 1" round is a bit looser in the bore, it will depend on the jag to some extent as well.

First wet patch is a 1" round since that is the tightest pass and after that its 1 1/8 square.

The point I was trying to make is, use the patch that is recommended for the rod and jag diameter. I got the recommendation from BT.
