    This is for sale, not traditional, but beautiful. Hand made. The weaver is asking $6000. I have no part in this, just wanted to pass it along, wish I could afford it. If anyone is interested Ill hook you up with the weaver. If the mods think it should be moved to 'for sale' Ill do that.

    Native arts are some of the most beautiful there are. My wife is Lakota and does amazing bead work. My compliments to the artist. Not only is this piece beautifully done but it’s done with the traditions of many generations.

    Here's a traditional Navajo corn Yei I bought years ago. Its very rare as the black is not dyed, It only comes from the belly stripe of the male sheep. Takes a lot of shearing to get that much. The green is from a moss reduction. The rest of the colors are alkaline dyes. Dates to about 1920. I know of only one other in existence and its in a museum. The figures are corn spirits and they are surrounded by the Rainbow Man who brings the rains.
