At that range it was hard to miss.
I would love to find some at 400+, but that's not easy around here.
Most crop fields here are only a few acres, because tobacco and beans are rotated.
This was a tiny little patch of kudzu I discovered yesterday.
When back today and spoke with the landowner and neighbor to make sure it was OK to shoot them.
It was cool and overcast today, so they weren't out much.
I'm expecting to get several more from this spot when sun comes back out.

So Tucker301 just got to ask whats worse the Kudzu or the groundhog? I vote for the Kudzu being worse than the groundhog if no livestock is envolved. But I'm really a Kudzu hater, we had some take over when I was young my dad keep my ass after that damn kudzu. I worked all spring and summer and it would grow so fast. Nothing would cut it worth a shit unless you keep it cut every few days. Once it got runner a fot or so long it would stop a mower blade and the weedeater wasn't much better.

Not my call. The landowner was asked and he said, "kill 'em all", so that's what I'll do.
He has other fields adjacent, so I would expect that he's trying to nip them in the bud before they migrate to the rest of farm.
I'm not into the why. I just like shooting things.

Man I heard that. I wish we had some groundhog's to shot down here in Bama. I do see a few out by the roadside every now and then but there far and few between. Keep up the shooting maybe they'll relocate to central bama. For I'm in need of live targets and varmits.
