Pellet grills are the 6.5cm of the grilling world

You are in luck. Get some of these to keep your feet warm while grilling in the winter

Smoking is a chore. Last year I got a pellet grill for Father's day. No complaints. Not as good as slow smoking with real wood but fucking simple. I can adjust and monitor from an app. Some funny stuff here.

Another great comparison…

Pellet grill on the front cement patio, to alert other men that you really know how to smoke your sushi = 6.5MB

Homemade steel BBQ pit in the back yard under the oak tree, with rib eye sizzling over some charcoal = .308.

I guess that would make my Primo Kamado XL loaded with a whole prime brisket or a bunch of pork butt = 50BMG. 😎

Master race……..I guess if you don’t mind that your master race was made in Monterrey Mexico and snuck across the border. Primo is made in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. My master race is made in the USA.
I submit that Mexicans, as a culture, know more about barbeque than Missourians…

I grew up cooking on big(30-40 brisket) custom wood fired pits, and have to tend 20-30 at a time. I deserve easy at this point.

Pellet grill = rabbit turd wood and a diesel glow plug for fire.

Gimme real scaly bark hickory in chunks at least 3 inches in diameter and 12 inches long....and burn them with fire, not electricity.
Yea I have a traeger....that shit just tastes wrong.

Cook 2000 chickens at a time, couple thousand racks of ribs, or 800 turkeys.

Youll appreciate turn a dial and go sometimes. With good pellets the taste isn’t really different he cheap shit may be. It’s still burning wood.

A burnt piece of meat looks like a burnt piece of meat.
The taste is the test.
Hell for what it's worth that piece of meat could have been green and funky when you threw it on whatever grill and it would still look like that.

View attachment 7782359Alright boys and girls, point off a brisket. Was this pellet or offset?
Trick question it doesn’t matter,if you know what you’re doing they do the same thing.

you could lie and say it was an offset theyed never know. I had a coffin pit that was probably 5-6x16’ wood box in the middle for smoke Propane burners down in the bottom to heat, you’d never know and I thought it would suck at first. Also had a water pan everything came out juicy and looked like it came off the normal big Offset we had.

This is like debating two equal gun brands and everyone's fan boys of one side.

Next time it’s a good time for oysters if you have an offset pop them on till they open, add cheese bacon and jalapeño. Eat a whole bag before you know it.

It’s been years so I forget it you start them or finish them inside for some smoke. I think they went inside a few minutes then they melted the cheese on the fire box. They were still soft juicy inside with a real thin cooked outside like a good fried oyster.

We always cooked the normal stuff, but we ate shrimp or something lol. Fuck eating brisket after you’ve been running around tending a parking lot full of pits for 2 days.

You can’t pay me to eat a smoked chicken these days. Seen/smelled enough to last a lifetime, pass

Ordered my son a Workhorse 1969 for Christmas. It will take a while to get here as they are made to order. 3/8" steel with a generous size firebox. Weighs 800 lbs. I'll let y'all know when it gets here and we will smoke some meat.

Smoked is smoked.

And its awesome.
I've gone through the tree stages of grilling/smoking:
(1) Charcoal cause I am poor
(2) Propane cause I live in the burbs
(3) Wood smoked because its best

Sure laugh at the pellet smokers. At least they are smoking the meat you savages!

You mean a Kamado Joe

Sure, if you want an inferior Chinese product LOL. My sister cheaped out and bought one because she liked my egg so much and it started falling apart after 2 years. Several parts have had to been replaced and they wouldn’t cover them under warranty.

They’re not in the same league, poors like to pretend they are however. The funny part is I only paid $300 more for my large egg with the stand, flip up shelves, conveggtor and a bunch of tools and stuff. Hers came with only the stand and shelves and it was only about $100 less after the bought all the other stuff that my deal came with and I use the shit out of mine and it has no issues.
