Peterson 416 Barrett

I’ve seen a few posts about Peterson offering 416 Barrett brass some time in ‘25. Does anyone have any more information regarding when?

I've only seen a couple pieces for die development. Neck walls are around .017, volume is more than worked up RWS. Rumor is Hodgen is working to make a powder to match up to the task. Did not have permission to section and test hardnesses. I think the increased volume is a mistake. If anything, the lower area needs reinforcement.

You mean like the typical Barrett bolt opener assist mallet?

A cartridge will always have a problem when you try to do stuff it was never designed to do. Like over 3000 fps with heavy bullets . And problem's are compounded when chamber spects were not designed around brass and dies. No one is happy with 2800 fps.

Is there a good reamer to pair with the Peterson brass?

Every time I read about it, I'm glad I never got on this 416 bandwagon. 375 Cheytac and 50 BMG are dialed, tested, and true.
