I'm a fan of Armed & Styled (Youtube channel).

Fascinated with the Enigma holster concept. She is a fan and supposedly runs/lifts using it.

Anyone have experience with it?

$150 with a 15% restocking fee (and return shipping) otherwise I'd just try it.

I use my regular gym shorts and a full size glock 45. Do the simple crossknot you do with gym short ties (to provide 'belt' tension of the shorts to your body), insert the holster over the shorts with the clip centered over that crossknot, then while holding the gym short ties tight so they're belt-tight to your body, run the ties over the top of the holster clip and do another crossknot to tension against the holster, then tie your regular knot. That's how I carry with regular gym shorts. They need to be fairly tight but not uncomfortably so.

I also have a pair of Gadsden Dynamics shorts that have belt loops and I use a velcro inner belt with those to clip my holster to.

The Phlster is a cool idea in that it doesn't matter what you're wearing. Spiritus Systems also makes a belly band style that works for a lot of setups.

Does not look comfortable

Restocking fee sounds like others who tried it agreed

Concealing a staccato P under scrubs? Very impressive

Is that due to the enigma being a great holster

You being a master ninja at concealing a gun

or do you just weigh 300 pounds and drop your belly over top pretty much any gun? (just kidding)

Definitely not a ninja. I'm 175 lbs soaking wet, and wear medium scrubs.

Scrubs conceal everything, including the bloated burrito belly that's not gonna let me wear regular pants on my off days.

I like the enigma - it has a ton of adjustability in regards to cant and how high or low you want the holster to ride. However, if I'm wearing a belt, I still prefer belt carry 100% of the time; it's just another tool that allows me to continue carrying regardless of how I'm dressed.

Or the scrubs are big and baggy............

wow, you fell for that sponsored marketing good, huh?

thats a good shiny penny for a holster I would hope it feels real good and whispers you sweet nothings while wearing it.

a sheet of kydex is like 5 dollars, slap that puppy in the oven and use one of the old ladies mits to press it around your carry and make your own?

Armed and Dangerous (Tessah Gabrielle) just dropped a new video this morning. At 0:30 she admits she works for a holster company as a "disclaimer".

Phlster? Langdon Tactical?

So interesting to learn how concealed carry is different for women. I found this video very educational. This kind of "personal" marketing is very effective in my opinion and holds my attention well. Not a generic review with no details, but clear examples with a priority on what women value most: comfort & concealment.

Men might value attributes like speed of draw, accessibility from awkward positions, and what their favorite Tier 1 instructor uses.

Please note the person she's helping is like 6 feet tall, which makes concealment appear MUCH easier. The "instructor" is like 5'0" 108#.

man, this guy...

are they paying you to post this marketing material too?

if you are so fucking convinced that its what you want, go ahead and spend your money on it. OP's coming off like some kind of fucking woman over there asking about something you have already made your mind up on.

Nope. Not paid at all. Don't know the people or the companies. Never bought anything from them ever.

If I come off like "Some kind of fucking woman", I'll take that as a compliment.

I absolutely haven't made my mind up about anything. Leaning 90% NOT getting it because my current fav holsters work well now. But they all require a sturdy belt.

Just fascinated with the idea of a holster that I could use wearing basketball shorts at the gym.

I'm just crowdsourcing for information. I have nothing to sell or recommend with these companies/products though I do like the Youtube channel.

*disclaimer- I am subscribed on YouTube to Armed & Styled

If my links trigger you that much... please just block/ignore me or stop looking at the thread.

You remind me of the kid at the arcade who would go around annoying everyone because he didn't have friends.

You don't like what I post?

No one cares.

I'm going to block/ignore you now so I don't have to read any more of your immature attempts to troll.

You're welcome to do the same. Or just keep on trolling if that's your style.

You've been on this site less than a month, were you banned previously?

Or did AR15.com run you off?

You can carry with it naked if you want, it also works with a tux, and everywhere in between.

It adjusts and it also allows you to adjust where you run the gun on your body in a much larger way than something tied to your pants.

It does what it appears to do, I run one, and have a Tier One Aegis Elite, amongst leather holsters and on and on and on... $150 for a holster is nothing, $150 for a toothpick is something.

I have the JM Kydex holster shell in mine, I ran it with another brand originally, it was adjustable retention, wasn't rocket surgery figuring out how to use that either. I went with the JM because it's noted as allowing the gun to ride higher above the faceplate, which it does, though that created another issue for me, though minor.

Wear it with nothing, with gym shorts, in pajamas, work clothes, suit, whatever...

Taking a leak, you can move the gun easy if need be, taking a dump, you can still wear it if you wish, taking a long road trip, you can simply shift everything up so your belly isn't rubbing on things, so your nuts aren't getting crushed so on and so forth with all the issues people talk about with Appendix carry.

It isn't tied to your pants, so you can do a lot with it, you could probably wear the thing like a bandolier even. Better than a belly band, though they are advancing those things as well.

I don't know what else to say, it straight forward does what it notes it does, it is what it appears to be. I can carry my P320 with my 21 round mag in it with this, with my Tier One Aegis Elite I put my 17rd in, the Enigma makes concealing larger rigs easier.

I’ve got an express. It’s excellent for non-belt situations, as well as dressing up with tucked in shirt (if you have the appropriate size clothes). I’ll run a belt-mounted appendix holster when I can dress with an untucked shirt and jeans or work pants, just a faster option. I do agree with the above poster about long road trips, I prefer the Enigma just due to being able to adjust it for more comfort.

Ever see a holster so bad you make fun of it to the creators face and guy(knew him) in he middle of buying it?

Looking at you "kangaroo carry" or whatever that shit was.

so wear a fucking belt or something with your stupid ass gym shorts or your "going shopping spandex". Got a crush on these youtubers and want to fall deeper into their trap, jesus fuck go buy some bathwater.

From the looks of that holster it has a belt built into it, so they don’t want to wear a belt and holster with their gym shorts or leggings….. so they get a holster…. with a built it belt 🙃

This holster also doesn’t require a belt
