My apologies if this is posted in the wrong place but I wanted to give a shout out to Phoenix Shooting bags. Their bags are super light weight but provide a rock solid platform for the rifle. Couldn’t be happier. Definitely planning to throw one in the pack on my next elk trip. What impresses me the most is the customer service. I emailed to exchange one of the bags for a different size. The owner responded on a Saturday during his hunting trip and then followed up with me when he got back into town to make sure I had received the email. I shipped the bag back to him, he shipped me the new one and credited my card. Simple, easy, and fast. Anytime I come across a company like this I think it deserves some recognition.

I'd never heard of these guys so I've checked them out a bit and there are a couple things that are intriguing about their products. Good to know they have good customer service as well.

I originally purchased a Medium Ridge and a Small Ridge to use as a rear bags. The Medium Ridge was way too big for that so I exchanged it for an extra small rear bag. Now I have a bag for shooting prone on hard surfaces and a little bigger one if I’m shooting in taller grass.
That makes sense. What's the fill like? Is the typical lightweight fill used in pump pillows and the like?
