First post, and already begging for help.

I recently picked up an SSG69 P1 (older model, I believe, black furniture) and have been searching around for a more "conventional" mounting solution. I have the factory 1" rings, but I guess I am looking for a little more versatility. Can anyone help me figure out who makes this mount:

Thanks in advance.

1. Have a picatinny rail mounted on Steyr SSG and use any 34mm rings

2. Get from Ernst Apel
- roll on mounts for Steyr SSG + 34mm rings on them

3. Best solution I've seen is fixed 20MOA MIL-MOUNT from MAK
- http://www.kilic-feintechnik.de/
- it has one piece base with 34mm rings. As sturdy as it gets.

Thanks guys, I guess I should have been a bit more specific in my initial post. I am looking for something that I can "bolt on". It looks to me as though the Steyer base and the USO base both require drilling and taping. The MAK base in the quoted post above looks super nice, but I can't seem to find it in their catalog.

Thanks again

Re: Picatinny Riser for SSG

I just ordered one, just what I need, another 100 dollar piece of scrap metal to add to the collection, oh, correction, 125 dollar "special" piece of scrap metal.
