Thanks I looked all over and couldn’t find anything. Can the HS3 accept the ESS folding stock? I’m about to pick up a Tikka CTR I think and I really like the HS3, just not sure on the stock yet. I have a magpul PRS I could run, but the ESS folder and the carbine stock are my favorites...

Thanks for your interest! To answer your questions:
- The HS3 can't be adapted to fit the ESS folding stock, but you can get the same effect with the skeleton rifle stock (short) and a folding stock adapter OR the skeleton carbine stock and folding stock adapter.

- The MagPul PRS will mount directly to the HS3, but usually, it will increase your LOP to ridiculous lengths (depends on whether or not you have a Gen2 or ).

Let me know what else I can do to help :)

So I actually have a magpul PRS, and would like to use it or the skeleton carbine stock. I’m not a big fan of the regular skeleton stock for the HS3. As far as LOP, I’m actually really tall and find most rifles LOP too short, so that is actually a positive for me. I would probably add a LAW folding stock adapter which would even add a little length. I would mostly likely use the PRS, since the ESS stock is not an option. Ideally I would get an ESS with folding stock and carbon Handguard, but from a money standpoint, the HS3 is significantly less since I already have the Magpul PRS and a Ergo Tactical Deluxe I want to use. I just wish the HS3 had a spigot mount like the KRG. I own a machine shop, so if I go with the HS3 I will likely design a spigot and modify the HS3 to accept it, or buy a KRG spigot and machine the HS3 for it. I’ve got this narrowed down to either the HS3 or the KRG Bravo if I want to keep the budget low, or an ESS or Whisky3 if I can swing it.

Well in a turn of events, having a long LOP has helped you out then with the HS3 :) We used to offer a long LOP for the Skeleton Carbine stock too, but all of that is getting re-worked on our end right now due to some cool stuff we've got in the works!

The HS3 spigot does come up occasionally and it would be a relatively easy piece to machine if you have your own shop, or to modify the KRG one for that matter.

Out of curiosity more than anything else, why the HS3 over something like the LSS-XL Gen2? The XL is a little cheaper and you could also use your MagPul PRS on it. Not trying to sway your decision, I'd just be interested to know why you are drawn to the HS3.

Primarily the polymer side panels as opposed to straight aluminum. I also prefer the looks of the HS3 to the LSS XL.
