Went with my daughter in laws father last night. he doesn’t have NV stuff so we shared. He had my thermal and i used NV. Very dark so I lead him around by his shooting stick. He has been seeing a big boar for a couple of years and it approached him last week while calling turkey. We walked up to fields and he would scan. We found him at about 100 yds and stalked to within 50. He did your typical deer shot - behind the shoulder! Fortunately it ran towards us and he anchored it with my suppressed 300BO with 110 Barnes. Fun!! He was like a kid he was so excited.
