Pigs! Pigs!

Pigs are nasty fuckers - spent most of my youth on my great grandparents farm, and one of the trade offs for doing work was we could also do pretty much whatever else we wanted . Shoot rats pigeons woodchucks crows drive tractors go to the dump and shoot trash/rats . It was a paradise for a boy to grow up .
Anyhow they kept hogs 10-15 at a time and also cows and horses . A colt was still born and I remember my great grandfather taking a large knife he made from an even larger file and opening a little slit on that dead pony and then using the tractor to drop it in the hog pen - Within an hour or so there was nothing left but hooves and teeth and even the skull was broken up into 3 or 4 pieces . Left an impression on me for sure . I can’t imagine that poor woman’s terror and pain

it's best not to introduce them to meat. keep them herbivores. i learned from the old timers. knew a guy that used to throw deer leftovers in the pen, the old boys around told him that was a bad idea. once they get a taste....it's best to keep them eating plants. AND well fed.

and if you think hogs are bad........just be happy chickens are small.

True. Some say it’s ok to feed cooked meat to pigs, but I try to keep them strictly vegetarian. I’ve told my young girls that chickens are just pigs with feathers. Now that’s what they tell all their friends😆
