I've been practicing with my pint size GC for a few weeks now and found a neat "trick" that some might have found already on their own but I wanted to post just in case.
For wider Barricades (more than 2" or so) flip the bag upside down... It creates a larger platform on top and rifle creates more leverage to squeeze bag than with gravity alone. And due to the longer front tab stick out, it's much MUCH easier to pinch the bag and foreend between your fingers.
I still use it both ways but found this to be fast and ultra secure on my 2x4 indoor practice barricade.
This might work on the larger GC also but I don't have one so others will have to try it out and report back.
