That's when detectives say the driver pulled out a gun and shot Saunders.
They say Saunders took off after being shot but was later caught.
He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Detectives say the delivery driver will not face any charges.
Saunders is also charged in connection with two other armed robberies at video gaming parlors in Kanawha County.
