The calculations are done as a whole then divided by 2 that's why I listed both numbers. Please help.

Vortex Crossfire 6-24x50

tube diameter 1in .5in
objective diameter 2.55in 1.275in
DIP 25MOAbase height .410
end caps .068in

burris highs + DIP 25MOA base = .71in

objective diamer 1.275 - tube diameter .5in - DIP base .410 = .365in + caps .068 = .433 rings needed

It depends on what kind/ brand of rifle you are installing the scope on..

Post rifle, what rail or base you plan to use, etc..

Scope and rail Is listed in the equation. Rifle is a Savage Mark II TR.
