Good Afternoon, I ended up with a very nice Remington 700 custom in .308 off of an auction site. It is a very high-quality build. There are zero markings on the barrel. It is a fluted heavy varmint contour mounted with a Badger Ordnance recoil lug. When I disassembled it, I discovered that the HSP Gen 2 bottom metal was engraved with the numerals "10344" and the initials "LBJ". I have attached a pic. I would love to hear from the craftsman that built this rifle!! Any info you folks have would be appreciated. Thanks!!
