Been wondering, on the cheytac intervention and the new Italian rifle that's made by a subsidiary of Beretta have this loop or handle under the barrel, why? What's it for?

They like the Carrying handle,
That is a Victrix, it's removable on their rifle, for long walks in a military context they figure it is a comfortable way of doing it
