I have been shooting a little IBS style where you have an IBS target at the top area of the target stand and a steel sighter plate hanging under the main target 3-4 ft. If I adjust POI on the sighter plate I am shooting about 2-3" low (.1 Mil) on the main paper target. If I adjust POI on the sighter plate high the elevation on the paper is correct.
I'm thinking that this has something to do with my rear bag since the sighter plate shots would have the butt of the rifle higher between the bag ears allowing the butt to push down and muzzle up with the shot. Not sure what else it could be and not sure how to correct for it either. Any ideas?
