I am shooting a 700 5r in .308. Got a supressor for it a few months back (yankee hill) Seems that I have a change in POI by a few inches with the supressor on. Is this how it should be or is this a malfunction. Second question is once I have the dope info for the change at 100 yrds would I just add that to diff distance corrections and will that work?

Re: POI/POA change with supressor

Think about it ...

You are hanging a weight off the end of your barrel, of course it is going to change the POI. You have to change your 100 yards zero but your dope at distance will not change, it is essentially the same.

The key is that the shift in POI is the same each time you add the suppressor.
