New Nightforce NXS 5.5-22X50 Bought it a few w. When i went to set the Zero Stop weeks ago noticed there was no longer the screw slot like my other 4 NF's Looked like a deep hole with something that looked like it might be an allen wrench adjustment. Called NF and tech fumbled around, sounded sort of surprised and said we change our design. Does any one else have this sort of set up or do I have a problem?

I've set the Zero Stop on 3 other NF scopes and have never seen this set up.

just for everyone's reference, they have changed the screw in the center of the zero stop from a flat head screw to an allen screw type screw.

this photo is courtesy of the OP, everything is the same, except the screw

As in the pic posted by Jay above, that is a new broach cut method that we started to utilize as a better production method when making our ZeroStops. We purchased a new machine and by doing the broach cut, instead of the slot cut, that allows us to eliminate machining process, and makes for a cleaner appearance.

Yes but by putting the same photo on the instruction sheet with the new set up led me to believe something might be wrong. Just a suggestion,if it was my company I would have put a little note on the sheet. Well that's water under the bridge, it's the scope quality that counts which hasn't changed.

The new supporting literature should be arriving at the factory from the printer this week. We revised the ZeroStop instructions to reflect such.

We apologize for any confusion or cause for alarm.
