Post a political meme go to jail...love Texas

Sponsored by Phelan. It sounds like he’s a Phelan-derer…

This is total bullshit and sounds just like the EU now. If this passes, Texas is as fucked as London, England.

Totally unconstitutional as it says the 1st amendment doesn’t matter.

That was the original intent, but it’s already been reinterpreted before it left the house. Read the article.

It’s a slippery fucking slope, my friends. Don’t be enticed.
I read it twice. I think this to punish political rivals for creating ads of behavior and policies out of context. Essentially, lying about real events for money.

That being said, they can have my memes when they take them from my cold and dead hands.

I don’t disagree about the intent, which in itself is political bullshit, but it’s already been interpreted by some as an opening into arbitrary punishment. Or, at will punishment, if you will.

It’s an open door.

This shit is only on the block because they feel it has had great effect.

Utterly unconstitutional and I'm not sure I've ever seen any sort of legislation that flew in the face of the 1A as this one. Even if passed and signed, it won't stand.

I think it doesn’t matter what it means, it will be used as they like. Sure, you may ultimately win on the grounds of free speech, but by that time you’re so far in debt to your attorney you may as well be his concubine…and no one will remember you prevailed.
