I shoot em with the same thing I shoot everything else,
175 smk 44.0gr RL-15. kills everything.

Thats my exact load right there(non moly)...that produces 2950fps in two different barrels, a 26" Bartlein and a 26" Krieger, both 1-11". Lapua brass, Federal 210M, seated 5 thou. off the lands.
Varget does vary a bit from lot to lot...the last lot I used required 46.2grs for the same velocity.

I got 8 on the last lot of 100. Then primed them with Wolf primers and hoping to get another couple firings...No split necks or seperation at the web, just enlarged primer pockets.

I've got some 110 VMAX's inbound. I'm going to use the new IMR 8208 XBR and/or Varget. I'll shoot this out of the AR10. I'll post the results. I'm hoping for some high flyin' prairie dog action!

works quite nice out to 650 yards, not the best BC, drops like a rock, but it makes good practice and the price was right

I have some 115 hpfb bullets that I was shooting out of the 300 UM. Was going to try them in the sass as well. I have some varget left over but I really hate the stick powder. I have been using western powder all ball. I can use the electronic system for stick but way slow. It does not drop out of my RCBS dispenser very well. Any western powder user's here??
