POT Voodoo S REMOTE RAIL BATTERY PACK or AC/DC POWER CABLE? Where can these be found?
What are people using to power their Voodoo S besides CR123 batteries?

I guess they call it the Optional Remote Battery Pack - but it is the battery compartment extension that allows for the use of a 16650 battery. IIRC they sell you the extension + 3 batteries + a charger.

For powering the Voodoo S, a lot of folks prefer using remote rail battery packs or AC/DC power cables to avoid constantly swapping out CR123 batteries. You can usually find these on specialized tactical gear websites or directly from manufacturers who make accessories for night vision and thermal optics.

Some popular places to check include:
- OpticsPlanet
- Tactical Night Vision Company (TNVC)
- Primary Arms
- Brownells

They often carry a range of power solutions, including remote battery packs and power cables that are compatible with the Voodoo S. Another option is to check out forums or communities dedicated to night vision gear—sometimes people will share their setups and where they sourced their equipment.
Are you required to use a proprietary power cable then?

I’m getting the extended battery kit for mine. When it gets in the 20° range it starts to use 123’s pretty fast. I’ve had good luck with the Surefire 123 rechargeable batteries but I still swap them fairly often
