What are people using to power their Voodoo S besides CR123 batteries?

I guess they call it the Optional Remote Battery Pack - but it is the battery compartment extension that allows for the use of a 16650 battery. IIRC they sell you the extension + 3 batteries + a charger.

I just use CR-123s. I’ve never seen anyone actually running a remote battery pack, just the outrageous $600 16650 kit.

I’ve been using CR123s so far. That battery kit is very expensive

Yeah, but at least the Voodoo doesn’t consume CR123s like the HISS Cookie Monster.

I’m getting the extended battery kit for mine. When it gets in the 20° range it starts to use 123’s pretty fast. I’ve had good luck with the Surefire 123 rechargeable batteries but I still swap them fairly often
