powder/bullet for .243 7.5 twist

Just received a DTA in .243 with 7.5 twist . I have smk 107 and dtac 115. Any load/powder suggestions?

If the bullets are naked start at about 46.5 grains of Rl.25 with the Dtac and work up. I don't have my notes but, H1000 4831sc, and H4350 work well too.

H4350 is what I am using with a 115 DTAC coated. I have also used H4831 SC.

Same here. 42.5grns in Winchester cases gives me about 3020fps with HbN coated 115s. Start lower though for safety.

Have any of you guys found the new berger 105g molly bt bullets yield better results over the 105g molly VLDs when shooting 600-1200y.

anyone have any load rec's for berger 115's non molly. ive got a 1/8 twist 26inch hart heavy barrel. just need starting loads for a work up

I've tried H4350, Re25, and H1000. In my experience with 115gr HbN coated DTAC's, H1000 worked the best for accuracy and velocity. Re25 had slightly higher velocity but suffered some with accuracy. Not enough velocity to win me over the velocities and accuracy of H1000. H4350 was super accurate, but no where near the velocity I wanted. Others have had better luck with H4350 than I have.

I don't have any experience with Berger boolits in 6mm, so I cannot comment. Sorry.
