Powder for Sub Sonic Pistol Loads? 9mm & .45 ACP

In reading a bit about powder for subsonic pistol loads it would seem that most are using powders that enjoy a faster burning rate. So - does one want a faster burn rate? Is there a point of diminishing returns?

For suppressed use, Yes. Shorter length of barrel powder is burned up in allows for the rest of length to be used to cool gasses in.

N320 is awesome for 9mm and 45acp.

N320 is awsome in 40 also, and the brass hardly needs any cleaning, stick with the heavies, 147 in 9, 180 in 40, and 230 in 45 and enjoy soft shooting suppressed good times.

About 3.5 grains and a 147CMJ cycles my G19 & G17 with a TiRant perfectly.

So if N320 is all that, is N310 or Bullseye better?

Does a faster power translate to more quiet?

Bullseye is a dirty bitch. I bought a can because someone said I should have one. Wont buy another when it's all gone....

Faster to a point. N320 seems to be the sweet spot.

Magnum primers and faster powder yields DB reductions though...
