Powders for 8.6 Blackout, anyone tried Trail Boss?

Hey boys,

I’ve been loading and failing miserably with my 8.6 Blackout bolt gun. The rifle was built with a properly headspaced Faxon RemAge 16” 1:3 barrel on a Mack Bros Action.

I’ve been using N320, and have found that the rifle absolutely will NOT stabilize 300gn Sierra matchkings, or hornady 285gn ELDM’s. This is at sub sonic velocities “obviously.” When I say won’t stabilize, I mean a literal >2’ pattern at 100yds.

What I did find today is that 225gn Hornady SST’s will group well at 1.5moa average at 1015fps average with 10gn’s of N320.

I have some trail boss and CFE Blk that I’m considering trying. Curious if anyone here has tried it with the 8.6 blk, or have a starting charge recommendation?
