Hey all I am new to Snipers Hide. I love shooting and I need to get into shape. I am 5'7, 240 lbs I would like to see small results quick to stay motivated

Has anyone used Power 90 or p90x These look to work ok just wondering if anyone has seen results. My goal is 220 lbs. Also has anyone used hydroxycut? Is this safe or are there any side effects?

Thanks for the help guys im going to reach my goal.

Re: Power 90

I would stay away from pills, and concentrate only on diet at this point, not exercise. After you are below 200lbs exercise will help you take care of the rest.

Re: Power 90

Yes I have used Power 90, Power 90 Masters, and P90X.

I would say any weight loss or fitness goal is attainable through the right amount of perseverance regardless of the training plan you choose.
All the commercials say its got a new system or muscle confusion or some other nonsense, but the truth is it does work because if you work out an hour a day for 90 days you will see results.

I am not a fitness professional, a trainer, or anything like that, but from my personal experience they are all great programs suited to different levels of fitness. Power 90 for beginners with no fitness background,
Power90 Masters for the more in shape, and P90X for those looking to get into even better shape.

I hope this helps.

Re: Power 90

I used to weight 240 lbs, I decided I did not want to weight that much and began running. I found out nothing is quick in regards to weight gain or loss. Quick is relative. How long did it take to get to 240lbs? It will come off with your change in life style. Consistency is what will make the weight come off. Exercise because it how you choose to live your life. Its not a chore, its just what you do. There is no magic diet. A good place to start, like another member said eat smaller meals and more of them. From there its hard to say what will work for you. There are many variables that will make the weight go away. You will have to be the one to find out what works for you.

Re: Power 90

Be careful It is a hell of lot better to eat real food. I used to take protein meal replacements before and after hitting the gym. There is a lot of shit beside protein in these shakes that most people don't need. In some cases the additional vitamins, minerals and metals can be lethal in some folks.

While I was consuming protein shakes I developed ventricular tachycardia, an abnormally high heart rate from consuming this stuff. Be careful, just eat the real food and don't overdo it and workout for the best results.

Re: Power 90

I used to be an avid weight lifter and worked out 6 times a week. Well you know how it goes I slacked off and quit all together. I know the muscle mass is there I just need to uncover it. I have never been skinny but I was more built than I am at the present.

Couldnt agree with you more Ballistic. Im currently trying to loose some weight and get into shape myself. Started the first of the year at right about 230 maybe a pound more currently as of this morning Im at 214. Ive really changed what and when I eat. Ive reduced my calorie intake and track it using an App for my Ipod touch that was reccomended by a friend who lost over 100lbs. Its called Lose It if you can I reccomend you try it out. That combined with bycicling and not eating late anymore has really helped. Im very happy with the results and as the old saying goes "nothing worth having comes easy" keep excercising and eating right really as simple as that no magic or quick fix.
