I'm fairly new to neck turning and had some questions about using power tools to turn brass. I went with the K&M tools and am using their shell holder (looking back I probably would have gone a different route). There was a rebate sale at my local Menards so I ended up buying a Hitachi electric screwdriver to use with the K&M shellholder. I went with the Hitachi screwdriver because I use them at work . With all this said I noticed that the rotation of the brass on the driver is not perfectly concentric and am worried that this would somehow mess up the neck turning process and result in brass that is not uniform in neck thickness. With all this said do any of you use an electric screwdriver to turn your brass? Am I going about this the wrong way and if I am can I get some advice on how to do this right. Thanks in advance.
