Lately i have been playing around with an interesting NV&IR tripod from German manufacturer XSpecter that is meant to enable observation remotely with mount attached to a car with magnets or suction cups or a Ram mount to any railing .
I have two models on hand , T crow is a civilian version of a LE/mil product and works through an App , works with most modern consumer NV& IR cameras,App enables automatic sector scanning , object lock , remote light activation etc..,
X crow is a simpler model with manual remote command independent of an app so your older devices and heavier units can be used ,
One of the neat things is the use of your thermal monoculars or binoculars that are QD mounted so can be used with or without the T/XCrow
We are supplying some of the T-Crow to Border police as an upgrade to thermals they already have in service. Sure you can get more capable IR ball Turrets from IRay ,but not in the same price ballpark and that is not a thermal you can take of the vehicle and into the field.
