Practice ammo question

My new Kidd barrel likes the higher-priced spread (Lapua Midas +) and I haven't been able to afford enough for both the matches and practice.

The SK Rifle Match (also made by Lapua) works almost as well, and is less expensive.

Is there a downside to getting in trigger time with the SK and switching back to the Midas for the match?

Thank you,
Richard

If you find it helpful keep it up. Some insist upon cleaning when switching ammo. Not a bad idea.

If you are outshooting your ammo not sure how much help it will be to shoot with lesser ammo.

There is a chart somewhere that shows comparable lube used.

I can't find it; I think armorpl8dchkn posted it. If the SK is the same lube (which I believe it is) as your Lapua; then cleaning is not necessary and have at it!
