Why are people selling "pre ban" stripped lowers for $1000? Is there a difference between new lowers and pre ban?

uhhh, there still are "preban" which means pre 94 receivers which are the only ones still legal in a handfull of states! So I don't know who the "stupid people" are or the "smart people" are you make reference to???

Here in CT, we still have the original AWB so on an AR15 if you want a collapsible stock or flash hider you have to have a preban(94) lower receiver. needless to say preban lowers are big bucks here and just getting worse!
