I got my used "old school" trigger off of gunbroker the other day. It is missing the sear spring.

Does anyone know where I can purchase (or beg) a replacement from? I have been told that Remington will not sell internal trigger parts to mere mortals.

What is the chance the X-mark sear spring will work? I don't want to break down the rifle to tinker with it unless I am sure I have the parts to do the job right. With my luck I would get it torn down and get called out five minutes later.

I am itching to get this installed and tuned so I can get back to the trigger i know.

X-mark won't work, it is a slightly different animal. I would personally post a WTB ad in the trading section. The spring shouldn't be too hard to find, could likely locate it on e-gunparts.com or brownell's, but shipping will be more than part. You can PM Dans40X on this site as well as he deals with trigger/parts regularly.

Not to hijack too bad, but, I've been looking for the same thing for a couple of months now. I actually gave up looking. Would happen to have two extra ones laying around you could spare?? I'll gladly send you some $$ if need be.

Thanks,
CM.
