Building a 6.5CM with a 24" Proof CF barrel and need a 5/8" threaded brake. I've got a Silencerco Saker 30 caliber suppressor and need a KEYMO (dead air) spec muzzle device for it to go on this barrel. I was thinking about going with a brake of some sort instead of a flash hider.

Do any of you guys have any experience with Keymo brakes on your rifles and if they affect accuracy? Looking at the Lantac dragon, the Dead Air, the JMAC Customs and any others you guys may suggest.

I don't normally shoot with a suppressor, so maybe I should just get some other brake, like an EC Tuner....

Opinions??

I know tuners aren’t to well accepted around here but I have found that being restricted by magazine length, that a tuner can take the place of seating depth testing. My 6.5 JP with just a break on it was an just another MOA gun. I tried different powders and bullets and nothing made a difference. So I tried an EC tuner and cut my groups in half.
I recently switched from 140 gr eldm doing 2700 FPS to a 123 gr eldm doing 2900 FPS. I gained 2moa at a 1000 yards and it groups better. This is my last tuning session with the 123 eldm.

I run two different MB for all my Precision 6.5CM's

APA GEN 3
Area 419 Hellfire and Hellfire Match.

As for the Tuner Brakes, they work exceptionally well but only really if you're shooting store-bought ammo.
