Precision AR thread......

kinda bored today at the office so figured id start a precision thread.....or just a thread in general

heres what I have to work with...mainly all used for hog and coyote hunting

this is my "go to gun." its a custom Dtech 223, 1:10 twist @20" shooting black hills 55gr sp's. Havent found a hog that can handle it yet

Another 223.....22" barrel

my 6.5 grendel, shooting factory hornady 123gr Amax....not a fan of the Amax for hunting though

Dtech 243wssm, currently shooting 70gr noslers begind 40gr of varget....pretty dang accurate. TB 30-ba suppressor

25DTI....Dtech, shooting sierra 87gr SP with 31.2gr H4895....been really accurate so far


last but not least, another dtech, 300blk out, 10.5" shooting 220subs, its complete now, but I dont have a current picture. to be my new close range hog gun

Both geissele one dmr one match.grendel satern barrel and 24" lijla 223 barrel.billet receiver, side charding 223 using millet scope grendel nightforce.

My attempt at building a tactical long range AR started off with a .308 billet matched upper and lower from SI DEFENSE, Kreiger 1:11 Heavy barrel at 22" long with a RWS muzzle brake, Geiselle Match trigger, JP enhanced bolt carrier group. It shoots AWESOME. This was my first build so my very first time pulling the trigger was a little nerve wrenching. First 2 shots were in the same hole, made my scope adjustment and the other 8 rounds made what looked like a rough .50 cal hole!! (100 yard range). Gotta love the Krieger barrel. My ammo was some reloaded Hornady match brass using 41.9 of Alliant R15 and a 175g Sierra Match King. Very easy rifle to shoot. Big 16lb. kitty cat.

It's a Vortex optic in a Larue mount with a Vortex offset.

SPR"ish with WOA 1-8 twist 18" barrel loves 77g BTHP Noslers with Tac or VVN140. 1-6 Nikon with ADM mount and a JP trigger.

Next would be a newer build that needs acquainted to a piece of glass. Will be the Bushnell HDMR with a g2 reticle. Rifle build from DPMS frame its a 260 Rem with Bartlein 22" barrel built for 123 AMAX or 130 Sierras.

Thanks dude. It's a great shooter. It definitely holds up to the 1/2" 5 shot at a hundred guarantee. They don't get a lot of of attention here, but one of the best IMO
