I took my second Precision Data Class yesterday from Tom Sarver at Thunder Valley Precision in Ohio. We shot from 100 yards out to the mile target. Gathered a lot of data and the wind was a real challenge all day long. We shot from several different positions and dozens of targets. Tom is a very knowledgeable instructor and with just six people in the class it was fun. One guy had never shot past 200 yards before and he hit the 1,000 yard steel with a 308 rifle.
My next class is going to focused on wind reading.
I shoot a RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor. Tom is building me a new 6.5 Creedmoor gun.
This was taken back in January 2019.
This was late summer 2018. I put the Magpul stock on my rifle because the factory stock ate too many beard hairs.
