Guys, I have a new LMT Defender Carbine. I am wanting to get a precision upper for it and would like to hear opinions on which route is best. I would like to be able to shoot it out to 600.
I would like to stay with a 20" but would go longer is the accuracy is sufficiently better. I have a UBR stock on the way, so that will do. I am just looking for the upper. Will likely put a USO 1.8-10 on the upper.
I really like some of the stuff Wes at MSTN has, but am open to anything. Will probably look for something used to avoid the wait and I have a new Premier Double turn that I am going to try to trade. Hopefully I can compel someone to trade since the Premiers are pretty hot right now.
Lastly, do any of you guys shoot any 20" 556 SPR's routinely at 600 yards? What kind of accuracy is considered good at that range with an AR? 1moa? Better? Just want to have realistic expectations.
